Perspective: Deidre believes that successful therapy takes place when we have the experience of no longer being alone with our hard feelings. It can be difficult to allow someone else to see these parts of us, especially when we have been dismissed or hurt in the past, which is why it is so important toDeidreto establish a collaborative, and genuine relationship with her clients from the very first session. From within the safety of this relationship, you will be able to have new experiences, gain new tools, try on new perspectives, build self-compassion, and ultimately increase your capacity to thrive.
