Psychotherapy

Our Model

The practitioners in our Community of Practice are Registered Social Workers (RSW) and Registered Psychotherapists (RPs), licensed to work with residents of Ontario.

They are independent practitioners who manage their own caseloads and schedules. We do not have a centralized intake.

All members of our Community of Practice offer low-cost, limited-term psychotherapy, to reduce wait times and increase access for as many people as possible.

Student Therapists

 Why Students?

In our effort to build high quality psychotherapy options for clients, we partner with external supervisors and their students to provide practicum opportunities for student learning.

All students are supervised externally by experienced psychotherapists who align with Hard Feelings’ values. Both students and supervisors are carefully interviewed and screened to ensure a high standard of supervision and student support throughout the practicum.

Student Limitations

Due to the nature of learning, those with highly complex or crisis-related needs may not be suitable for student therapist support. Student therapists will screen prospective clients and consult with their supervisor to determine if they are an appropriate fit to support you.

Student Therapist session fees are as follows:

  • $50 per session for individuals
  • $80 per session for couples (if applicable)
